3D Visualisation Specialist

I'm Neil O'Donnell a 3D artist and visualisation specialist with over 20 years of experience. Through Solid Light Images I work with studios, developers and design teams on CGI, real-time rendering and spatial capture, with clients including Tesla, Dyson and McLaren.

Based in Oxfordshire I'm also expanding into drone photography and emerging capture technologies including photogrammetry and 3D Gaussian Splatting.

Workflow

  • Brief – Client supplies references, CAD/photos, deliverables and deadline. Confirm scope in writing.

  • Quote – Fixed price or day rate, payment terms, number of revision rounds included.

  • Concept – Rough blockout, camera angles or style frames for sign-off before full production.

  • Production – Modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering. Share WIP at agreed checkpoints.

  • Review – One or two structured feedback rounds, all comments consolidated in a single document.

  • Delivery – Final files, invoice and a follow-up a week later for testimonial or repeat work.
